In 1999, when I retired from teaching, I acquired a beautiful new camera. My intent was to photograph my gardens in the summer months and paint from those photos in the winter. I really got involved with photography and ended up doing weddings for 5 years.
One of my photos of white lilies in my garden won a national photo contest and became the cover of a magazine.
